Are you ready to be a part of something big? At PetSmart, we believe pets make us better people. That’s why we create more moments for people to be inspired by pets.
PetSmart is looking for passionate future leaders to jump start their career through our Store Leader in Training program. If you can see yourself leading and inspiring a store team for a Fortune 300 retailer – this is the opportunity for you!
At PetSmart, we’re all about creating pet-inspired moments, and our retail stores help our customers connect with and care for their family. The environment is energetic and fast-paced; you will never have a dull day! One moment you may be providing a solution for a pet parent and the next you may be coaching an associate on how to keep the store clean and stocked. Our associates are passionate about pets and people…they’re the “secret sauce” that keeps our stores operating.
Our stores are where the magic happens and we need strong leaders on the front line. The Store Leader in Training program prepares recent college graduates with the tools they need to become successful PetSmart leaders. In this program, you’ll rotate through various departments of our retail stores learning the operational skills you’ll need to run your own store efficiently. You will also build interpersonal and leadership skills that will give you the confidence to inspire and develop your associates. And you won’t be doing it alone; you’ll learn from experienced leaders and have a dedicated mentor to help you along the way. After four months in the program, you’ll be ready to assume the role of a PetSmart Leader.
