Job Responsibilities

Primarily responsible for storyboarding, scripting, filming and editing videos. As part of this role the candidate will be required to contribute towards concepting, directing and filming as well as motion graphics. Support internal communications needs plus digital photography retouching with a proficiency in color correction and image enhancement. Requires experience with lighting, as well as a strong eye for detail, thereby constantly improving the brand’s image and experience across all our business and communication channels via a mix of product, still-life, look book, social, events and other general imagery.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the internal communications team and business partners in order to deliver creative and original ideas and develop good quality scripts
  • Support non-marketing photography needs across the business
  • Producing high quality images, correctly exposed and color consistent – in accordance with brand guidelines
  • Cropping and processing of all images, maintaining file size specification guidelines.
  • Demonstrate highest quality skills in recognizing color, understanding retouching language
  • The ability to edit video recordings to a very high standard in order to produce material for both customer and associate facing communications, events, and civic engagement partnerships
  • The ability to create and edit motion graphics to an excellent standard using a variety of software.
  • Required to have knowledge and understanding of various filming techniques such as indoor and outdoor filming, ‘filming on the go’, interview based filming
  • Set up and operate various production equipment including cameras, audio, video recorders, lighting equipment and microphones for location and studio production. Responsible for care and upkeep of all studio equipment, props and supplies.
  • Assist in creating interview questions and storyboards
  • An expert level of Photoshop skills to be able to create cut-outs, resize and save out stills in the correct formats
  • Accurately archive assets. Create archiving standards for future use, such as naming conventions and file size/type requirements
  • Ad hoc duties for events, campaign-related content and collaterals.

Qualification & Training

  • Need to present a portfolio of original work (design, video and photography)
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred in Design/Film or Project Management
  • A relevant qualification in video editing/videography/photography/project management preferred
  • 5 years relevant work experience with a background in video filming and editing, videography, photography and design

  • High proficiency in using Apple Mac & PC computers
  • High proficiency in using:
    • Adobe After Effects
    • Adobe Premiere Pro
    • Adobe Audition
    • Adobe Photoshop
    • Adobe Illustrator
    • Adobe Lightroom
  • Proficient in Microsoft office programs (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Resourceful and enthusiastic. Able to work well within a team working well under pressure with a flexible attitude
  • Excellent time management and organization skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Meeting daily and weekly deadlines to prepare for new brand materials
  • Creative thinking, script writing, creative writing and storytelling
  • High level experience with color correction, image enhancement, and retouching
  • Willingness to take direction and collaborate with teams to accomplish goals
  • A high level of initiative problem-solving and interaction with internal business partners
  • Ability to work well in a high energy, fast paced environment
  • Strong work ethic, results-oriented, and proactive
  • Organized, methodical and detail oriented
  • Excels independently and in a team setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
