Whether you like spending your free time indoors or out, there's plenty to enjoy. The nearby mountains are a great escape to cooler weather in the summer and a great place to snow ski in the winter. The beaches of California and Mexico are only hours away. Plus, the city is surrounded by numerous lakes, hiking trails, and campgrounds. Education – With more than 55 school districts serving over 400,000 student's education is a top priority in Arizona. In addition to Arizona's public school system, there are also private schools and charter schools to fulfill any need your child may have.

Arizona is also home to three state Universities, numerous community colleges, and several tech/trade schools.
